The Wharton County Junior College men's and women's rodeo teams competed at Panola College in Carthage this past weekend. The women's team finished second with 158 points. Hill took the title with 265 points.

Football tickets for the East Bernard Brahmas vs. Karnes City Badgers playoff game will be on sale at each EBISD school campus starting today and running through noon on Friday, Nov. 21. Tickets for adults are $6 and students are $4. All tickets at the gate are $6. There will be a parking fee of $3. East Bernard is the visiting team.

The Wharton County 4-H Exchange Group will be selling red poinsettias for $12 through today. They will arrive on Nov. 24. Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the group's trip to Pennsylvania this summer. To order, call the Wharton County Extension Office at 532-3371.
